Our firm closely collaborates with Ed Besong, CPA, Esq. to provide value to your company. Prior to his collaboration with our firm, Ed worked for the M&A practice at Alvarez & Marsal in their New York office where he conducted buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence and structuring on S and C Corporation and LLCs, including participation in specialized tax research and modeling, to tax filing, debt restructuring, and reviews of the tax implications of deductions and acquisition agreements.

Prior to Alvarez & Marsal, Ed worked for Goldman Sachs as an International Tax Analyst in their expatriate partner and high net worth family New York City office. In addition to tax preparation and review, Ed provided foreign tax treaty research, planning and sourcing, and advised on the tax treatments of alternative investments, private equity firms, and publicly-traded partnerships.

As a student in college and graduate school, Ed worked as a Mortgage Banking Summer Associate for JPMorgan Chase & Co. and a Seasonal Tax Practitioner and Accountant for several small and mid-sized businesses. Ed obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Marketing at Wilmington College, Ohio and a Juris Doctorate and Master's Degree in Accounting, with a tax specialization, at Ohio Northern University.

Ed is a Certified Public Accountant and an Attorney in the State of New York. Ed is engaged in community development initiatives in his native Cameroon and New York City, and enjoys traveling across the world with his wife, Kate.
